Costa Rica Day Two
Doobie doobie doo. Journal goes here. Today was great.
We went and saw the active volcanoe Poas after leaving San Jose. It was cool, a little far away, but closer then I thought they would let us get. We could smell the sulfur in the air.
My camera batteries died just after finishing shots of Poas, luckily the camera saved the images.
We had an ok breakfast, nothing special, but definitely better then dinner last night. I actually recieved my food. On the way to our next hotel, we stopped at an amazing waterfall. Not THAT amazing, but still very nice. Nicest waterfall I have ever seen. Listened to Cascada while I was looking at it and walking under it (Cascada == Waterfall en Espanol). Very nice.
Then we headed for hotel, and brakes failed. We got stopped next to a mom and pops store though. I learned more quantum physics, discussed the election, met some nice dogs, played a little soccer, and grabbed some sleep.
Hotel is great, and a very nice field/square in the center of town where we get to see a volcanoe constantly erupting lava. Very cool.
Local dogs near hotel have some kinda of sickness, so we can´t see them. Internet Cafe´s here. Our room is sweet. Thats all for now, cya.
PS, added later.
Forgot, we also visited a nice school for grades K-10(?). A high school student was visiting. The girls named him Mr. McCALIENTE. Too bad, he told us as we were leaving that he was studying to be a priest... haha.
